Sigis Sniras was born in Lithuania in 1959. He is a professional artist, animator, and illustrator. But
his real passion has always been folklore and primitive art.
Sigis began his career as the owner and head-designer of a company in Vilnius, Lithuania. He
worked directly with publishers and producers' creating scenic design for television shows, festivals
and concerts. After this successful venture, Sigis Sniras relocated to America in 2001 and worked
exclusively with Klasky Csupo Animation Studio in Hollywood, California. With over 20 years of
professional experience in visual design including print, illustration, and animation. He has a proven
track record in the animation fields, working for Klasky Csupo Animation studio on the films Rugrats
Go Wild, and Wild Thornberries the Movie.
Sigis Sniras is an accomplished artist and is currently producing an animated book. Currently, Sigis
Sniras works as the chief art director here at Art Territory where he is constantly working to improve
our image and standing in the art-world.
Sigis describes his artwork as the following: "I probably am a romantic, and I guess therefore it
follows that the paintings are probably romantic too. Nostalgia, sentimentality and longing always
impact upon me and my work.”
