Savva began his artistic journey in Moscow, after being selected as a child for specialized training in the
Academic Drawing and Painting at the Moscow Art School. The Academy was dedicated to famous
Russian artist Vasily Surikov. After attending art school, he was admitted to the renowned Stroganov
Institute of Art in Moscow to expand his knowledge of the Creative Arts to include Visual
Communications. Upon completion of his education, he worked in Moscow as an Illustrator, Graphic
Designer, and Art Director for various newspapers, magazines, and a publishing House. His most
notable exhibition was a single-Artist show at the prestigious gallery Krymskaia Shore Boardwalk. He
was then invited by the Klasky Csupo animation studio to come work in the United States as a
Development Designer on various television and feature film projects. His designs led to the creation of
several highly successful Nickelodeon animated productions, such as the popular series The Wild
Thornberry’s, Rocket Power, and As Told by Ginger. His work in creating backgrounds for the top-rated
Rugrats in Paris, which generated over one hundred fifty million dollars worldwide. In 2004 he was
invited to Disney Studios as a digital background painter for Heffulamp project and then in 2005 for Little
Mermaid II. In 2006 he was invited by Rough Draft Studios to work on Drawn Together and then on
Futurama. Even though for 12 years he has been employed in the animation industry, he has never
neglected his passion for painting. In 2007 he was invited to be a part of Apexart Art Show in New York. It
was his first exhibition in United States. Since then he has decided to pursue the career of a fine artist.
