Ashot Harutunyan was born on, 1971 in Yerevan. His educational experience began in 1983 at the
Republican center of Aesthetical education in Yerevan.
Ashot continued on as faculty of painting (1986-1990) At Art collage of P. Terlemezyan and
Department of theatre and movi (1992-1998) at Yerevan state academy of arts. He has several solo
exhibitions and experiences that have taken him around the world.

1996 - Group exhibition, Artist’s Union of the Republic of Armenia.
1997 - “spring 97”, Yerevan State University, group exhibition, first prize.
1997 - Group exhibition, Artist’s Union of the Republic of Armenia.
1998 - Private exhibition, in the building of AOX, Yerevan
2002 - Group exhibition, British Embassy, Yerevan
2006 - Group exhibition, French Embassy, Yerevan
2007 - Private exhibition, British Embassy, Yerevan
2007 - Group exhibition, Centre of young contemporary art Yerevan
2008 - Private exhibition, “Art-bridge”, bookstore café, Yerevan
2008 - Private exhibition, Office of UNO in Yerevan

His works could have been found both in private and state collections of different countries of the
world since 1997.
